Fun but still practical sports car
My Genesis Coupe has a V6 engine, which gives it some power when you drive it. Right when you turn the ignition, the engine seems to purr. It has great controls, maneuverability, turning, acceleration. It's such a fun car to drive, especially on winding roads. The turning on winding roads is great, the car has great control when turning. It's also fun to accelerate in on the freeway. It also features paddles on the sides of the steering wheel for a bit different driving experience. Although it's a sports car, is also practical because the 25 miles per gallon isn't as bad as other sports car. It's a very reliable car and comfortable to drive in. My car has 75,000 miles on it and it's still great! This is actually my second Genesis Coupe, I lost the previous one to a non-moving collision. I did a lot of research when choosing my first Genesis Coupe, I wanted a car that was practical and was looking for an economy car when I found that the Genesis Coupe is good on mileage and reliable even for a sports car. When it came time to get a new car when my first Genesis Coupe was totaled, I didn't event think about getting another type of car.

Great Budget Sports Car
This car is offered in 4 cylinder turbo and 3.8 liter V6 variants. I opted for the turbo version base model in grey, due to its potential for modification and better gas consumption which is rated at 28 mpg highway. I found that in cruise control mode, I was actually able to consistently get 34-36 mpg when outside of city limits. The aftermarket support has grown greatly since the car's release, and with only a few thousand dollars, a couple simple bolt on modifications, and an ECU reflash you can net close to 300hp while still maintaining street drivability. The car itself is a real head turner, and many can not believe that it is a Hyundai rather than a much more luxurious car brand. The clutch feels a bit heavy for a factory clutch, so you may have some less than pleasant shifts when first getting accustomed to the feel, but after a week, it becomes much more natural. The interior is sleek and modern, but not overly impressive. Keep in mind that you are not purchasing a Porsche, so expectations for this car need to be realistic for a sub $30,000 sports car. For Hyundai's first go at a rwd sports platform, I give it a thumbs up!
