Great 'All Around' Vehicle
We originally purchased this vehicle for our 'family car'. It has a lot of room for a family of four. We fit two car seats in the back without a problem. Once we had another child, we actually ran three car seats in the back, but decided it would be nicer to have a mini-van for more room. This is the ONLY reason we stopped using the Nitro as our main vehicle. I now use it primarily for 'outdoor' activities, like mountain rides and hauling gear. It does great in the snow and on 'back' roads. The built in power inverter is something I also use a TON. the amount of power plugs is great (1 DC plug and 2 AC).

A car that cost me too much
When I purchased this vehicle, I was excited about the look of it, the functionality and feeling as if I had found a car that was in my price range that I would very much enjoy. Purchasing the car, I felt I had made one of the best financial decisions of my life and felt like the car would give me many years of service. I quickly found out that this would not be the case, as the car had a host of issues right off the bat, including the brakes, bearings and a problem with a radiator leak. I ended up spending a lot of money immediately for these things to get fixed, only for more things to go wrong. This is how things went for pretty much the whole time I owned this car. It did not turn out to be the wise purchase that I had thought it to be in the beginning, and in the end I found myself wishing that I had perused the selection at the dealership more and found a car that was not going to be breaking down on me so often and costing me thousands upon thousands of dollars in repairs. It is difficult for me to look back and think of a car that looked like a good alternative at the time, but I feel as though it would definitely have been a good idea for me to have gone to the dealership with the idea that I needed to consider and weigh all options that I had in front of me instead of being so anxious to purchase the first car that jumped out at me as an attractive choice.
