I like my Ford Ranger overall. For being 25 years old, it has held up rather well. I have much newer and much older vehicles in the past, and found that some vehicles fall apart after 10-15 years of use. This Ford has lasted long enough now to be officially called a "Classic" and it has surprised me how reliable it has been.

Great 4x4, reliable and easy to work on.
My Ford Ranger has been one reliable vehicle. I can let it sit for a month, and it will start right up. When I have had issues with it, the truck is very easy to work on yourself, and there is a wealth of information on quick fixes for common issues with the truck. Gas mileage is decent for a 4x4 truck. Speaking of 4x4, the truck has never left me stuck. It is an absolute joy to drive off road. I would probably purchase another one some day as this generation of the Ranger specifically is the best for driving off road. Great cheap truck.
