Reliable and long lasting
I owned my Ford Taurus from 2004 through 2011. It was an extremely reliable car. Some of its best features included good highway mileage, comfortable seats, a good audio system, and a large trunk. I would bring in the car for routine oil changes and maintenance but only twice had to bring it in for other major issues. My only complaint was that the gas gauge would constantly break and it seemed that no matter how many times it was fixed, it would always stop working. The car was well over 100,000 miles when I got rid of it. The only reason why I no longer have the car is that someone went through a red light and hit me. The car was totaled but I did not have a scratch on me. The safety features of the car protected me during the accident! This was probably the best feature of the car and unfortunately, I had to have an accident to experience it. I was hit on the driver’s side door and sent into someone’s front lawn but the airbags and strength of the door kept me safe. I would definitely recommend Ford and certainly a Taurus for people to purchase. It is durable, it will give you a good value on gas mileage, and protect you and your family which is more important than any other feature in any car.

Love the Ford Taurus
I really like the Ford Taurus as an everyday car. The car is very sturdy and feels safe while driving it. The handling is excellent. It can make even sharp turns effortlessly which is good for inexperienced drivers or drivers who aren't confident in their own abilities. The car seems more masculine to me but because of how easy it is to drive I think females would also enjoy owning a Taurus. The Taurus also seems to be good in all types of weather. I live in New York and we get all four seasons here so during the winter we have lots and lots of snow. While some of the other cars I have owned and driven in my lifetime sucked in the snow and ice to the point where I had to garage them, the Taurus can be driven all year round. I also really like the design of the Ford Taurus and just the way it looks. It reminds me of an undercover or unmarked police car since I know in some TV shows they do have Ford Taurus's for that. A Taurus is definitely a car that looks good, drive well, and isn't very expensive. Never really had any problems with it so it seems like a very reliable vehicle.
