Baja bummer
The Baja is a cool looking car. I have wanted one for some time. I bought a 2003 Baja in 2016 and paid less than $12,000 for it. It had uner 100,000 miles. I've had nothing but problems with the electrical system. The dealer had it for three weeks, trying to figure ouf why the ABS system light would not go off. Spent $300 at the dealer tring to troubleshoot why my tail lights and brake lights weren't working. When I brought it home, they were working.

Great, versatile vehicle for outdoor activities
The Subaru Baja has been an incredible and sturdy vehicle. With over 100,000 miles, the car has had very few maintenance requirements. The bed and roof rack have both been very useful for various outdoor activities such as camping, snowboarding, off-roading, cross-country road trips and weekend outings to the coast of California. Despite the sturdiness of the Baja, after about 10 years of use, it did develop a gasket issue which has been manageable. I highly recommend purchasing this vehicle as most issues have been very minor and cheap to fix.
