Great Family Car
The Honda Odyssey is the best car I have ever owned. I love all of the features that help a busy mother of three. There is ample room for my children and their friends. The doors open and close from a button in the car or on my keychain. I find this very helpful in parking lots with small children who have a tendency to swing open car doors and potentially scratch a nearby vehicle. The opening doors help kids, adults and items easily get into and out of the vehicle. The trunk has ample space. I also like how the back seats fold down and allow for transport of larger items. The van is bigger than what I have driven in the past, so the rear view camera is great for helping back out of parking spots and to avoid hitting other cars and people. The passenger and front seat are heated leather which is a must have for cold Wisconsin winters. The passenger and front seat also are very roomy. The back seats however, are roomy for children but a tight squeeze for an average adult. There are many cup holders located everywhere, including inside the doors. This is very helpful for those like myself who are often carrying a water bottle, a coffee mug and other kids drinks. The van does not have 4 wheel drive which is a con during the winter. Another great feature is that there is front and back temperature control with four vents in the back that can be adjusted individually.

An OK car for an OK value.
The car performs well for how long I have had it. I have around 50,000 miles on it. It has survived five road trips to Florida over the years, as well as getting t-boned by a drunk driver. The car is also nice for families. It has a good sound system and a built in DVD player. The problem is with the windshield. We have had to replace it twice, and this seems to be a problem with a lot of Honda models. It once cracked because we had the defroster on. Additionally, while the engine has held up admirably, the air conditioner has conked about three years ago and the heated seats make the car smell like it is burning rubber. I am broke, so I don't plan on replacing my car anytime soon. Still, given its age and build (it's a minivan) the mpg on this car may be costing me more money than it is presently worth. It's honestly kind of a gas guzzler. This has its good qualities though, because you can fit a lot of stuff in the trunk, like a bike, without needing a roof rack.
