Great value for the car.
Overall, this car was a really nice one. I got it as my college car, so I could commute between my college town and home. It's definitely not the fastest car out there, and it doesn't accelerate as quickly on the on ramps as some of the cars behind me, but overall I really enjoyed my Rio. It was very fuel efficient so I didn't have to worry about going out of my way to pick up a friend or go to the mall farther away. The insurance for it isn't very expensive. I bought my car used, but in the 4 years that I owned it never broke down or had any problems aside from a tire that got punctured and slowly started deflating.

Good first car.
This was my first car, a modest small little Kia. What I Love about the car is that it was small and modest. The locks are manual and so are the windows (not electronic) and that is nice because those electronic windows are always the first to go. When I bought it, it was 5 years old but still drove great. I drove it all over Montana where I lived. Because it is so small there isn't a lot of trunk space, but I didn't need a lot. When going up hills, the car doesn't do well, it doesn't have much pick up in that regard. So don't expect to go more that 50mph on an incline on the highway. But the car is reliable, It has only had one issue with the spark plug since I bought it.
