Awesome and zippy car.
This car is a speed demon in a tiny package. Not only does it jump acceleration when I need it, but it's smooth in it's transition from gear to gear. Great for navigating the terrors of Atlanta traffic. I like that it's automatic, and my husband likes the option to switch to manual mode since he's a stick driver. It's roomy enough for a car seat to fit in the car. The interior trim has held up extremely well to the abuse it has been given and comes almost entirely clean every time in the 7+ years I've owned it. The four-door design is better for single / younger couple people without kids rather than as a family car. The trunk is roomy enough to fit a whole Costco run full of groceries, but is a bit of a tight fit with a stroller to wedge in there due to the angle. The few recalls that have occurred with the car have been incredibly minor and the service we have received has been phenomenal, and the turnaround time for repairs completely reasonable. Maintenance is also mid-range (neither inexpensive nor exorbitant) cost-wise.

Mazda iSport for the small family.
I bought this car for its sleek look, and practical price point. I like the idea of small and fuel efficient cars, and this car really is both! The fuel efficiency on this car is amazing, and I am able to go almost 2 weeks without a fill up. The tank is only 11 gallons, but I can go more than 500 miles sometimes on the highway travels. I like the sleek look of the car, and huge hatchback trunk. The backseat has a pull down cup holder, and arm rest, which is a nice size, and splits the back seat evenly. I love how there is built in navigation with a huge screen that helps me with all of my destinations. The biggest downfall of this car is the interior size. I have my daughter in a car seat behind the passenger, and when my husband is in the front seat then it gets very cramped. If you have tall people or anyone larger than average it will be hard to accommodate everyone.
