This is the first SUV-type vehicle that I have purchased and am asking myself why did I wait so long? The Ford Escape is a small-size SUV, and it is so practical for rural life. The color (steel blue) and four-wheel drive sold me on the car. With the winter we just had with over five feet of snow over four months, this vehicle got me everywhere I needed to go. As a volunteer first responder, this vehicle has gone to some amazing places this winter that the chained up ambulance couldn't even get to. Absolutely love the heated leather seats; they warm up faster than the car air does and make winter driving so enjoyable. The size allows four adults and our gear to ride comfortably on any type of road. The keyless entry is a bonus for those days you lock yourself out too!

I'm unhappy
I'm dissatisfied with this car. It has required numerous repairs including brakes, transmission, starter, and air conditioner. A few others I can't remember. The inside of the car had a problem on the fabric seats that was written up, but we weren't compensated for it even though the seats looked damaged and stained. The car is uncomfortable and noisy. The middle console is too big leaving little room, and no where to put my purse except the passenger side floor which is a pain to reach because of the console. There is a lot of rattling inside of the car and you can hear a lot of sound from traffic coming from the vehicles with you on the road. There is something wrong with the passenger side door as it fill with water on a rainy night, and it pours out of the bottom, when you open the door in the morning. The overall structure of the outside of the car is still attractive, and the paint job still looks good. There are a lot of nooks and crannies on the car making it hard to clean. It also has a horrible blind spot, and it is difficult to see when changing lanes, especially to the left.
