Decent Car for the Price but Expensive to Repair
I lowered this car, and she sat really pretty. Honestly, German engineering and styling is beautiful. The Audi was 10+ years old but still looked absolutely beautiful and stunning. It drove fine, the turbo never gave out on me, and it was enough to provide a decent amount of power and fun (~180 horsepower). Maintenance was an absolute pain, repairs cost both an arm and a leg. I sucked it up and paid for everything that went wrong because the car just looked so nice, I miss her a lot. Some things that I had to repair were the water pump, timing belt, driving belt, steering, motor mounts, suspension, etc.

Looks great. Make sure to maintain well.
The Audi A4 B6 1.8 Turbo is an amazing daily driver if you perform regular maintenance and pay attention to the dash. The car is super snappy, offering a decent amount of low-end quickness perfect for local runs. The tiny 1.8 turbo engine saves gas like none other, but it is prone to oil buildup, so make sure you use recommended synthetic. The appearance of this car remains fairly modern, and the interior still functions like a newer vehicle. The rounded tail light is reminiscent of a few porches, and many parts are interchangeable with Volkswagen. At around 80,000 miles, many internals must be replaced so try to purchase one with very low miles or after 100,000 miles because the repairs are pricey. If you find a decent mechanic and diy a few projects, this can be a very pleasant and handsome vehicle to own.
