The BMW 525i is a fun car to drive. It is sleek and hugs the curves well when put to the test. Use it mainly for short trips and occasional commuting to work. It has very good power given it's v6 engine. I was disappointed to have to replace the battery a few months after I purchased it with 55,000 miles on it. Other than that it has run smoothly. Although the BMW 525i has a large trunk space, I was disappointed to learn that the back seat doesn't fold down to allow for longer objects to fit in the trunk like other cars that I've owned. The iDrive entertainment system is good and easy to use if you're familiar with working on a computer. I did not like the fact that the center console didn't allow for cables/cords to connect to electronics outside of the compartment easily. There were no holes or openings to do that without keeping the console open slightly.

I feel disappointed
I love the way the vehicle looks, its a luxury vehicle, and I added some nice 20 inch rims, it made the vehicle look as if I paid over 10,000 dollars for it even though I got for cheap.

Unexpectedly expensive repairs
This luxury car was beautifully made with leather interior, superior design in the interior and exterior, and very comfortable. There is a large enough trunk, and a feeling of safety in the strong design engineering of the car. The driving is smooth and acceleration is powerful. But the cost of repairs to keep this car running have been extremely high. The German parts are extremely expensive to replace, and I am constantly having problems with it. The electronics system is constantly causing problems with the sensors not working.
