Great quality vehicle
The 2014 Chevy Cruze is a small, but powerful car with lots of great features and a turbocharged engine. It runs great, and we have had very few mechanical issues with this vehicle. We purchased this car so my husband could save on gas when commuting to his work as we moved out of town. We get around 29 mpg with this vehicle, which is great compared to those we have owned in the past. It is not a spacious vehicle, and we do not use this to take the whole family or go on long trips. The backseat is very cramped, and trunk space is limited. Front driver and passenger space is good, and seats are comfortable on a basic trip. The car is not recommended in heavy snow/ice conditions even with good tires due to its light weight. This vehicle also does not defog/defrost very well at all. You can remote start the car, but it will shut off automatically after ten minutes, and there will still be ice on the windshield even with the defrost setting full blast. On dry/wet/summer road conditions, it runs very well and smooth. It feels and sounds great when you are driving it. The heater and A/C run better in this vehicle than any I've owned.

Chevy Cruze makes cavalier exit
As my old Pontiac Grand Am was on its last legs, and I like GM products, I set out to compare a number of offerings. The Cruze took my attention straight away. It was sparkling white, with a black leather interior and there's nothing like the smell of new car leather. It proved to be quiet and agile during the test drive and had all of the "bells and whistles" I wanted in a new car. The fuel mileage was attractive, the interior roomy and the trunk more than adequate for my needs. It also had a great rebate and the dealer offered me a decent trade-in value for my old car. The only problem was the financing. The dealer's representative said the car didn't qualify for GMAC-type programs and that they would have to use an outside bank. Also, mysteriously, I needed to buy "gap insurance" as the banks wouldn't finance the whole amount, even though I was providing more than a 20% down payment. When they told me they were actually using my bank, I just went to my branch and they financed the car without the gap insurance and at a much lower interest rate. Then, a couple months later, I learned that the Cruze was being discontinued. While I'm generally happy with my car, I would've bought the Camaro, instead, if I had known.

Fun and reliable car!
I love my Cruze. It is the first car I ever bought new. It looks sporty but still has excellent gas mileage. I've had minimal maintenance and repair needs and I'm at 37,000 miles. I have two children is car seats and they can fit comfortably. The trunk is huge, it looks very deceiving for the size of the car. We are able to bring luggage with no problems when we travel. The air conditioning works great and reaches the back seat easily for the children. I like that it has USB plugs for my iPhone. It also has Sirius radio and OnStar, which are nice perks to have. Unfortunately after the first 6 months they are an added expense if you want to keep using the service. The interior is holding up well considering I have children who like to make messes. It is only a 4 cylinder so the engine is somewhat slow when needing to speed up suddenly. However, it will really move once you are going and the cruise control is wonderful for long trips. I am a therapist for young children and travel from home to home each day. I'm able to keep my gas spending low while still able to fit in all my therapy toys and supplies as well as my own children!

No pushy sales people willing to fairly price their inventory. Also, they were helpful when my wife couldn't decide if this was car that she wanted.
