Excitement didn't last.
I've had this car for four years now. We had Chevy mechanic friends steer us towards this one rather than the Traverse or Acadia because they said they had more transmission and AC issues. Overall, I just like this car. I went from having a six-seat car to a five-seat car, which was more of an adjustment than what I thought it would be. I like that the rear bench seat cab be slid a few inches forward and back to make more trunk room. I get very decent highway MPG, city MPG is mediocre. Smooth ride, handles well. It has multiple power ports from front to back. I very much dislike the issues I've had with it so far, such as it totally died on me while sitting in stopped traffic, it did turn right back on though. I've had to replace both front axles. To top it off I'm now having AC issues. Car is stylish enough, even though that wasn't top on my list. Love the OnStar capabilities and touch screen options. I use the Bluetooth all the time. Also, doesn't have rear seat AC vents.

Great and roomy car...
We purchased a brand-new Chevy Equinox LS, and it was great driving it off the lot...brand new and shiny. One of the things I love most about the car is the room on the inside. The backseat has tons of room and is very comfortable. The front seat is very roomy too. I was a bit hesitant because I was used to having leather seats in all our cars, but this one has cloth. I have to admit, the cloth seats have held up great. The car is now 8 years old, and the seats still look brand new. This car also gets great gas mileage and has the ECO mode which helps save gas even more. I certainly like that feature. One thing I wish we did have on the car is the feature where the seats and mirrors automatically go back to the place for each driver...not sure what that is called, but I miss having that because every time I get in the car I have to readjust everything. I love the shape of the car and how it looks from the outside. It is kind of sporty and it is fun to drive. We love ours so much, our son and daughter-in-law recently purchased a newer Chevy Equinox and they love theirs too. This car, because of the year, 2011, does not have all the bells and whistles that newer models now days have, but it has enough for me.

Great customer service and the ability to chose what I wanted instead of having them tell me what they wanted to put me in.
