Michael
Woods Cross, Utah
The best simple, reliable, affordable, and boring car in the U.S.
I got one at 55k and mine is now 120k.
I've done few repairs on it, air filter, power steering, pinion and rack (which I may not have needed that badly or may have happened from an incident), and that's it. Well, tires, but that's something else right?
Mileage is average, I get 21-22 with 30% stop-and-go.
It's a big car, it feels a little like driving a truck or SUV. Speed is decent, GM has apologized insanely for this car and so there should be no fear in buying one. The recall work is either done or not needed at this point, if it still is you'll find out quickly.
Power steering is lame, has its share of duds, but if you find a solid one drive it into the ground! There is a reason you're going to see 1,000 of these still on the road 5 years from now. Toyota + Honda of the 90s = this car. Okay maybe not QUITE that level but you get what I mean...
Herriman, Utah
Worthless.
I am not at all satisfied with being so low to the ground. My personal preference is something taller and more apt to go up a mountain.
