Used Chevrolet Malibu for Sale in Akron, OH

It is the usual General Motors piece of crap. My family told me not to mess with Chevys. One year into buying the thing, and I was already having major brake problems. Bought gas at a different gas station then normal two months ago and now the service-engine-soon light is on. Chevy's paint jobs are not meant for the harsh Ohio winters with all the snow on the ground, and Chevy's undercarriage is unable to handle the salt on the road. There is already heavy corrosion. And one of the worst things is that the vent fan only works when you turn it up on high. In order for air-conditioning and heating to be at its most comfortable, the fan must be on medium low to medium at the most. Everyone knows this.

The vehicle has been overall reliable over the time we have had it, but there is nothing incredibly exciting about the vehicle. There have been no major mechanical issues, but the interior has not held up that well. The ride can be a bit rough, but it handles just fine, and the traction control system and anti-lock brakes have always been reliable. It gets decent mileage for its age, and we will continue to rely on it for years to come hopefully.

The car is very attractive. The features are nice, with the sunroof and multiple choices to set the radio stations at. There is an extra "pocket" on the dashboard to put small items in that is handy. The parts for the car are not as expensive as they are for other vehicles. However, in six years, the transmission has had to be rebuilt twice. There is a metal covering over the brake line that constantly squeaks. It has to be oiled every week. The doors randomly lock and unlock themselves, and although the dealership has looked at it, they can't figure out why. I think that this was a nice car when it was new, but even though it was taken care of, it declined pretty quickly.
