The car is still running strong with no major problems. The transmission is as strong as new. I like the fact that it gets 30 to 35 miles per gallon. I also enjoy having air conditioner that works quite good. As the years have gone by I am disappointed in having recalls, however at least the parts were still available. Although it's going on 10 years ago, it is now starting to show rust spots. I know my interior has been washed and cleaned many times and the fact that the fabric has not torn or worn is a major plus. The car is very good at traveling hills and rough gravel roads. They claim that the newer models are better, however I disagree. This car sits higher on the tires than new ones and that's a plus. The entrance into it allows you to get in , sit, and not feel like you're sitting on the road without a car. The color is still a very pretty shade and all in all I have no major complaints about this car at all. There is one drawback, it's minor but would make transporting larger items a little easier. That would be the back seats. They release and fold down, however, when they fold down they are not quite flat down enough.

I own a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx. Two months ago I paid $3100 cash for it. I am very happy with my purchase, as I live in Michigan and rust on vehicles is very common. However, my vehicle is all around very clean without any rust or dents. I really like the hatchback, I think that it allows the back seat to be bigger than a normal Malibu. Being a mother, that makes traveling with my child and other children more convenient. I also really like that it is a Chevrolet vehicle, I think that they generally have nice cars. My gas mileage is great! I use this to drive to school and a full tank can last me around a week and a half. I have taken a few trips that were a hundred miles and have had no problems with the oil or how it runs. The gas and break peddles are very easy to press, there isn't too much resistance. The cloth seats and carpet on the floors were clean when I bought it and very easy to maintain! However, I was disappointed with my radio being an older style so it did not have an aux cord. There is also some wear on the buttons to lock and unlock the door on the drivers side and the driver's side function to unlock all of the doors does not work. Other than that, the radio works fine and I can lock the doors; I am also able to customize the stations and adjust my volume without any problems.
