I went to the dealership in hopes of getting a car instead of an SUV. I was trading in my Ford Explorer 2001. I test drove a few cars that day, but none compared to the Chevy Malibu. It's a very smooth ride, hugs the road well and there is hardly any outside noises. The interior is very streamlined, and I love the touch screen on it. It's very easy to use. The exterior is very classy and outshines the older and even newer Malibu. There is enough room for my family and me. My boyfriend and I are tall people. I'm 5'8" and he's 6'2". We have more than enough leg room, which can't be said for many sedans. The only complaint I have is how low the car actually is. When I go over humps or turn out of certain drive ways, I will almost always scrape the bottom of my car. It's the worst, but I haven't seen too much damage because of it. I've owned the car for over two years now and I have to say it is the best car I've ever owned. I've been called by the dealership asking to trade it in for another car, and I just can't do it. I love my car and will be driving it for years to come. I'm happy to be a part of the Chevy family now.

My Malibu
After walking around the car lot for about ten minutes, this car's paint color and window tint caught my eye. It was a bright, sunny day which made the car look jet black, but upon closer look, it is actually a dark gray. Since I purchased the car, I haven't had any major electrical or mechanical problems. Within the first month, I somehow ran over a screw and needed to have two of my tires replaced. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. When it comes to the performance, the only qualm I have is that the car doesn't accelerate very quickly. It takes a little time for the car to pick up the pace and get going when I step on the gas. When it comes to gas mileage, I have consistently gotten more than 27 mpg per tank. That is at least 5 mpg better than my previous car. I typically drive around 25–30 minutes to and from work every day. The car has been great in traffic with no issues in braking or handling. I would recommend this car or one of a similar style to others.

Great car for the money
I bought my used car from a local dealership based on the information given in the advertisement placed on the dealership's website. I was drawn to this vehicle because of the new things the car had just had replaced on it as well as the immaculate condition of the outside of the car. The Malibu was also equipped with a sun roof and an aftermarket stereo system, which added extra character to the vehicle. My previous car was a van and did not get very good gas mileage, so I was thrilled to learn that the Malibu I was about to purchase got great gas mileage in town as well as highway mileage. I had a few dislikes with the new car. The tires were not as new as I had first thought and actually were on the verge of needing replaced. The breaks ended up being rather squeaky, and the extended warranty had expired months previously. All in all, the Malibu was an inexpensive great find, and I was glad I drove the extra 20 miles to pick up the vehicle.
