Dependable, for the most part
The powertrain is incredibly reliable. The 5.3L Vortec engine is strong and gets great fuel mileage for a V8. The transmission could shift better in my opinion. I like the interior. Chevrolet seems to always have a nicer interior than other makes and models of trucks. The truck tows very well.

There's something about a truck.
This truck has been real good to me. It is dependable. I've never had any trouble out of it. I've driven all over the country and it has never let me down. The only thing I have had to do was routine maintenance. Change the tires and keep the oil changed. I can drive 9 hours from Florida on one tank of gas. I mean it's dependable and that is more than I could ever ask for.
