My dependable Chevy Silverado 1500
I like the vehicle from a number of standpoints including the way it looks, the height it give me off of the road, and the way it handles. I use my truck for part time jobs including Uber, an onsite trash removal service, and then for personal use. I have never had a problem with the vehicle at any point. I purchased the vehicle new from a dealership when it had 5,000 miles on it. The truck had been used as a dealer service truck, and a close friend is the general manager of that dealership. He made me a terrific offer on the truck that I could not pass up. I always drove cars, but upon moving to Texas, decided to make the transition to a truck and have been very happy with the experience. The only thing I would have preferred about this vehicle is a better cabin experience from a technology standpoint. There is no inboard navigation or other advanced digital screens that I see in similarly priced trucks. Another feature I enjoy is steps on the back bumper that allow me to step in and out of the truck bed easily.

Smooth ride and leg room.
trucks sit to high and most need running boards, or you try to jump in. Once in the seats are not very comfortable there is no movement feel hard. it is difficult to fall asleep in this type of vehicle if your sharing a long drive. We have had much problems with the air condition as well as the dash sensors. The air conditioner fan runs two speeds either high or very low the ones in between do not work. We have had it looked at not sure what is causing the problem. We have no usage on the speed meter it has not work for years. This has been looked at before but they were not sure of the problem. Most over all it has been low maintenance on the truck little to do and keep it maintained up to par. The cab is a little small and wish it was an extended, when you put things in the back of the truck it all slides to the front end and at that point you have to climb in to get your belongings. There should be some kind of cargo net or cubby built in for this type of adventure. Many add a tool box on but that is a lot of weight and cuts down on gas mileage. It does well with gas mileage. It handles well in all weather although there is no snow in my area. The initial tires were upgraded they are too expensive at the dealers to choose what you want,
