My old Chevy has 290,000 miles!. It has been a good truck over the years. Good truck to work out, I have been working out of this truck for about 5 years. It drives well and is a heavy truck. The only complaint I have is the gas mileage. It seems like I have to put at least 20 dollars a day in it to keep me on the road and going. It was bought used with about 170,000 miles and it presently has 290,000 miles. At 250,000 miles I had to replace the motor. The used motor was relatively cheap and found a good mechanic to put it in cheap. It wound up costing around 1200 to get it fixed up. At present the power steering system has been acting up and it has been a nightmare. It has been leaking for quite some time now and I have just been adding power steering fluid to get by instead of addressing the problem. Now the power steering has completely gone out. I believe the pump needs to be replaces. At 290000 miles I have been thinking about putting her out to pasture. She has been a good truck and lasted many miles.
