Not bad, not memorable.
The Chrysler 200 has treated me well over the last couple years that I've had it, but it's not something that stands out or makes me recommend it to others. The looks are very middle of the road in terms of what styles have been coming out recently. The body does feel aggressive from the front, but it's a bit odd looking from the back. At side view, the vehicle just appears to be another run of the mill sedan. Its driving performance is fairly decent, though I do worry greatly about the quality of the transmission. My vehicle only has about 20,000 miles on it so far and already the transmission tends to make shifts very abruptly. I also noticed from day one that the transmission ECU does not seem to be very well set up. The transmission is a nine speed, but I feel like the ECU was a four speed with a few more gears just tossed in. It feels like the car is never really sure when it's supposed to be shifting. The motor seems very good however. It's not very quick but more than enough for normal daily driving. What sold me was the interior. It isn't quite up to 'luxury' standards, but for a mid-priced sedan, I think it's probably one of the best. The seats are very comfortable and easy to clean with great adjust-ability. The steering wheel is nice and thick, which gives the impression of better build quality. The touchscreen is nice, but I would prefer it be a bit larger and maybe include some extra features. The gauges on the dash are very nice, good colors, and I love the ability to change the brightness. The only complaint with the interior I have is that the back seats don't provide much leg room. Overall, it's not a bad vehicle at all. It gets the job done and doesn't look ridiculous doing it.

The build quality is good. There are no interior rattles, and I have driven 42,000 miles. The interior materials look and feel high quality, very fancy and have held up well over time. I have experienced no issues with key electronic components, including the stereo and navigation system. This lovely mid-sized four-door sedan has been re-designed with elegant svelte lines and is offered in attractive colors. It is offered in six model trims that provide buyers a choice between FWD, which is standard with the base-line LX model trim, and two options for AWD model trims.
