Spacious, practical vehicle
This is a good running vehicle. It has the get-up and go that our family requires in a vehicle. Surprisingly, it does not use an exceptional amount of gas either. I really like the style of it in addition to its practicality. The space that this vehicle has is really great! We can get the kids and all of their belongings in it very comfortably with minimal effort. Grocery shopping with the kids in tow is no longer a problem with all of the interior space that goes along with this sport utility vehicle. We also have the optional third row seat so if we need to haul additional passengers, it is not a problem.

Dodge the Dodge and Fast
At first, the body of the Dodge Durango always excited me. The sleek and confident look of the round edges make the car appear modern, even though mine is a 2005. The space within the vehicle is appealing as well, especially for those with big families like I have. My Durango seats 7 comfortably and is great for long family trips to Disney World. I bought the car used. Within just three days of the purchase, we could feel the car shaking, rattling and over heating. Could it have been the fault of the dealer to sell us a car below standards? Perhaps, but the problems kept on persisting. Granted the car is old but I thought American vehicles were built to last. Or is that just Ford? I have had so many issues with this vehicle, mechanically that it is not worth what we are paying for just to drive it.

I really like this vehicle because it has the space, style, and speed I need in an SUV.
I own a 2004 Dodge Durango SLT with a Hemi engine. I really like the SUV’s sleek appearance. However, the fiberglass body and bumper are easily dented and dinged. I like cars that I can fix up and personalize, setting them apart from the rest, and my Dodge Durango allows me to do just that. I can add a body kit, fender vents, bra, rain shields, spoiler, etc. to set my Durango apart from the rest. My Durango is very comfortable with its cloth seats. I hate leather seats because leather is so cold and impersonal. Externally, my Durango is not too big and it’s not too small, it’s just right for my taste. On the inside, I love that my Durango has a third row. I have three children that do not like to touch each other in the car, so the third row is definitely a plus for me. However, the trunk space is very narrow unless I let down the third row. I do like how my Durango has a secret compartment underneath the trunk where I can store my personal belongings, such as my purse or laptop. I am definitely not satisfied with the gas mileage of my Durango. I find myself paying at least $50 a week in gas just to take the kids back and forth to school. I know this might not sound like much to a working person, but I am a homemaker. I am, however, grateful for the reasonable repair costs. Since I bought my Durango used, of course it was going to need some repairs. But I receive free oil changes for life from my local Dodge dealership even though I purchased the vehicle from a police auction and not the Dodge dealership. My Dodge Durango is quite fun to drive as long as it’s not raining. No matter how slow I drive in the rain, I always get pulled to one side of the road by standing water, while it seems as though other cars race by me with no problems. Since my Durango has a Hemi engine, it accelerates like a race car. My family almost got whiplash a several times upon me taking off from a stopped position. The handling and control of the vehicle took some getting used to. Now I’m a pro at maneuvering around objects and through tight spaces.
