The noise comes on a few seconds after you open or close the car down. I am not sure if it is something with the lights or antenna, because I haven't had a chance to get it looked at. I maintain the vehicle with regular oil changes. If you maintain the car and clean it regularly, it will last. I always wax the vehicle, and it is kept inside a garage a lot.
