Dodge Avenger is a great ride - nice surprise
I like that the Dodge Avenger is a nice size. It's not too short and not too long. It's very roomy inside and provides a lot of comfort on long trips. It's stylish, but not too fancy. I like that the car runs smoothly, and I can rely on it without having to worry about it breaking down. Maintenance doesnÕt cost very much, and I havenÕt had any major breakdowns. It gets great gas mileage driving on the highway. I can drive from Dallas to San Antonio on one full tank of gas. I like that the rear seats fold down to make room to haul large objects or even to make the dog more comfortable when we have to take him on trips. The trunk has a lot of space and can hold all of my clothing when I go on an inventory shopping spree for my retail store. The Avenger has a lot of horsepower. It has the get up and go that IÕm looking for with no lags when I step on the gas pedal. The sound system in the car is wonderful. I like that there are controls for the radio on the steering wheel for safer driving. The Avenger wasnÕt my first choice, but IÕm so glad I purchased it. It was a nice surprise because it is a good looking body style, as well as, safe to drive.

An average car that has problems but is reliable
The Dodge Avenger is a car that is slightly behind in tech compared to other cars. It still comes with a CD player, doesn't have Bluetooth, no seat warmers, or any fancy add-ons. What you get is simplicity. The handling is great, and it's a nice sense of being in control. The interior is comfortable, plenty of room to move around. And the trunk has a surprising amount of space to it. It's a straightforward car design that you'll see over and over again. While someone might think it's generic, they would be wrong, because the manufacturer decided to make several changes to the car that are best described as questionable. Want to change the battery? It's located in front of the driver side tire. You wanna jump start the car? You get one red sign that says "connect here". Questionable is the kindest way to describe this engine composition. Don't forget, check you hoses in the engine. Most are flimsy and have a tendency to break down faster than normal. It also has a rattling sound due to the AC turning on. Many people have had this problem, and few solutions exist. I have driven it for 60000 miles, and while the handling is fantastic, its overshadowed by its problems. Id recommend to look elsewhere before taking this car as a serious buy.

One of my favorite cars
I have owned this car for almost four years now and I have had no major issues with it even though I bought it with high mileage (129,000). I love the look of it, somewhat a sports car look but great gas mileage and V6 makes it get where it needs to go. The person before me took care of this car extremely well and I have maintained it just the same, keeping it serviced regularly. My father owned this style of Avenger when it came out in 2008 and once I started college I found one of the same year.

I have purchased cars from this dealership in the past. Their staff is quite knowledgeable. I also get my cars service at the dealership and they are also great. However, the reason I purchased the Nitro at Three Rivers Chrysler is because the owner is incredible. He is such a hands on guy.

Looking for a car is hard work. It's even harder work without a great dealership. That's why I like Blue Knob Auto Sales. They really work with their customers. The sales department is not pushy. They try to go out of their way to make everyone happy. I will be purchasing all of my future cars from them.
