I love this car. This is the first BMW I have owned and am now a life-long BMW fan. I was inspired to buy this car when my father (who is a mechanic) told me about the quality of the brand. It has not been a disappointment. The design of the exterior is sleek and stylish, and the interior is awesome. The leather interior and heated seats make for a very comfortable ride. But the best part of this car is the power behind it. Acceleration is fast and smooth, allowing me to navigate all types of traffic and terrains. I have had the car for over two years now, and have had to make only minimal repairs. Routine care for the vehicle are a little more expensive than other cars, but well worth the luxury of driving this vehicle. I also love all of the little extras that this vehicle is equipped with. It has a sunroof, dynamic headlights, is equipped to accept satellite radio.

This car has been a very reliable vehicle. The ride is smooth and the interior is nicely appointed. With leather trim and a fairly well thought out dash. The engine performance is what you would expect from a BMW with quick acceleration and nimble, responsive handling. While the vehicle is an overall clean and well performing vehicle, there are a few issues. The buttons to control ventilation are painted black, so over time the paint has worn off and you now can not tell what the button controls. The driver side rear window regulator has broken twice, a very poor design and a known issue. The windshield trim is made of sub-par rubber and crumbled after a few years, very poor design. I would have expected more from BMW.

This car is always one of Car and Driver's top 10 for a reason. The handling is crisp, and the car is ready and willing to take on any corners that may come up. The ride is fairly smooth, but you will feel the bumps due to the low-profile run-flat tires. The build quality is what you would expect from a German manufacturer. This car just has the cool element. The convertible hardtop makes this a practical car for all season driving in some parts of the country.
