The design of the vehicle is what really drew me to want a car of this nature. This car exudes '90s with a mix of German class. What I did not like about the car is that the owner before me completely had no knowledge of how to care for a German vehicle. Third-party parts were thrown upon this car as if someone didn't have the common knowledge to think that BMW did not know what they were doing when they designed the car, mechanically speaking and also visually with regard to tail light customization. So, mass amounts of funds were needed to bring this car back to its German supremacy, but luckily, there wasn't too much damage done.

BMW's 3-series wagon is an excellent option for someone that craves a luxury brand that is also practical. We are the type of family that would never be cool with riding around in a minivan, but with two young children and a dog, we needed space for car seats AND accessories (like a large stroller). The 3-series wagon is large enough to comfortably fit two car seats in the back. There is also ample storage in the trunk area. In fact, the trunk is large enough for our dog to ride comfortably in her bed. One of my favorite things about the car is the heads up display. It makes keeping your eyes on the road while navigating or watching your speed easy. When I have to drive a car without it, I feel lost! I also found that the vehicle is incredibly safe. I was rear ended on a major highway by a tractor trailer in this vehicle (where speeds average around 70), and while the back of the car did sustain significant damage, I was lucky enough to walk away with nothing more than a couple of bumps and bruises.

This vehicle is extremely reliable even for its age. I inherited this car from my grandfather, who kept it in great shape through the years. He bought the car brand new and gave it to me with only 100,000 miles on it over 26 years! I use this car every day to commute 25 miles to and from college. The car has minor issues currently and I am working to fix them. Otherwise, it runs like a dream.
