The Colorado looks great on the outside and runs like a champion. The interior is rather bland and uninteresting. The handling is on par with other vehicles in its class, nothing special here. Gas mileage is surprisingly good for this vehicle. Driving at freeway speed is exceptionally smooth and makes you feel like you are just floating along the road.

I like that the car is dependable for the most part, I have had it since 2008 and nothing has gone wrong with it beyond your regular wear and tear. The car is decent looking, kind of a no frills design but it gets the job done. I am pretty tall (over six foot) so I am pretty cramped in the small cab so it is not the most comfortable, but it is not bad given the price point. The pickup bed had plenty of space for me, I never needed more than what it offered. There are no unusual noises or blind spots in the car. It drives well with comfortable handing, the brakes are bit spongy but they have been dependable. Considering the size it gets subpar gas mileage in town, but on cruise control on the highway it has performed very well for me. It isn't an amazing car by any stretch of the imagination but it is a good basic work truck or starter truck, I would recommend it to somebody who doesn't have the need or budget for a full-size truck.
