It's a good, solid, reliable truck. It's a little temperamental, but it keeps on going. The bed holds up to use, and can haul a lot of rock and material. I live in a rainy environment and the truck is not rusty. The chassis parts have lasted a really long time and I've never had to replace them. I've put 170,000 miles on it and it's running strong. I like the cup holders, but I wish the bench seat were adjustable. One of my complaints is that the seat is not reclinable and has worn out quite a bit, putting a strain on my back over long drives. There are also goofy electrical issues with the truck, which seem to resolve themselves after wiggling wires or pulling over and waiting 15 minutes. On the extended cab, I was able to put in a back seat and there is a moderate amount of room for passengers.

The truck was bought used and the circumstances were that I had to purchase it rather quickly. So despite all the research I did I went for the Colorado because it was available, within my price range, and ran decently for 160,000 miles. The biggest problems that most Colorados, including mine, seem to have has to do with the electrical components. The A/C only works if on full blast, the blinkers/lights wear out quickly, and there is an issue with the exhaust that makes the engine idle in weird spurts.
