I have been very happy with this vehicle. I bought it 2 years ago at 90,000 miles and it is now at 140,000 miles. There have been no big problems with the car. I didn't replace the spark plugs right at 100,000 miles and the cars engine light came on. Easy fix though. Now at 140,000 miles the engine light came on again, but this time it was just a crack in the spark plug. No a big deal.

The Chevrolet Equinox gets a four out of five rating in the SUV class of automobiles. The best features include a spacious cargo area with storage compartments, cargo net, large rear door, rear seats that fold down and plenty of lighting. The interior in general is unremarkable and plain. The AM/FM CD stereo system is more than adequate. Another convenient feature is the adjustable rear seating for maximum leg room. Some of the features that need improvement are higher-quality upholstery fabrics and better front windshield accessibility for cleaning. Gas mileage is average. I recommend this car for family travel and when cargo room is required. Very practical vehicle to own.
