The car is not the prettiest-looking thing to drive, but it is a great everyday car. It gets great gas mileage (sometimes up to 30 in-town), rides smoothly with good braking and acceleration, has plenty of leg room and a decent amount of storage in the hatchback. However, sometimes the opening space of the hatchback prevents large items from fitting in the door even if they would fit in the space inside. We have had the car for almost two years now and have never had an issue; only recently did we even have to replace the factory tires. It does great in ice and snow - the ABS kicks in and won't let the car spin even when my husband is TRYING to spin it out. One annoying thing about the car is that the windows freeze and will not open (hard to go to drive-through!). Also a safety feature will not let you lock the doors with the car running (so can't warm it up beforehand unless you want to risk it being stolen). Although it is overall very easy to drive, the shape of the car (with a flat back) makes it hard to judge distance when parallel parking (usually have much more space than you think). Overall, the negatives are minor and this is an excellent car to own.
