I bought my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado because I am a woodworker, and I need a solid truck without any frills. Because I have two dogs who travel with me often, I opted for the extended cab, which has proven to be a great decision. The truck is solid, drives well, has ice cold a/c, and hasn't given me a single problem at over 100,000 miles. The truck bed easily fits 4'x8' sheets of plywood and anything else I might need to throw back there. Because I view this truck as my "work car," I opted for a simple package: there are not power locks or windows, and there is not an aux cord or even a CD player. Although this can be inconvenient at times, I appreciate the simplicity and find that it's just fewer things to possibly go wrong, as I intend to drive this car indefinitely. The price was competitive with other trucks of its size but I opted for the Chevrolet Silverado because I love the shape of it. It's boxy and simple - an homage to simpler times, when trucks were associated with ranching and blue collar work. The truck is pleasing to look at but does not draw too much attention to its self. My only wish would be for better MPG, but that is hard to come by with a truck in my price range. It is simple in every sense of the word, but more importantly, reliable.

Chevrolet Silverado is such a good dependable truck. I love the 4x4 drivetrain. The 4x4 feature comes in handy when your out in the mud or sand. The vehicle has 40,000 miles, and it still drives so smooth. The entertainment systems is so awesome. I like the Bluetooth features. Bluetooth is so easy to connect. The entertainment system is so advanced with the Android Auto Connect. No need to have a built-in GPS. You connect your phone to the vehicle, and the vehicle uses the GPS from your phone. It uses Google maps. I believe you can also connect an iPhone if you have one. I use this truck for camping, and I take it to the lake a lot. It has so much cargo space in the bed of the truck. I like how it has a little stepping assist on the bumper. That comes in handy.
