Upon purchasing the Chrysler 200-C it shifted weird. It banged back and forth when travelling at slower speeds. I felt like the transmission was going to fall out. On the highway, however, it ran too fast- almost like it had a mind of its own. I took it to the dealership and after much fighting with them, they sent it to get checked out. They said there was a glitch with the computer and they reset it. The car ran fine for maybe a month before doing the same thing over again. I again brought it to the dealership and they again reset the computer. It ran fine for a while and now it still acts up on and off. I read online that this particular car is a lemon and many others have had the same computer glitch with their car. But, now I am stuck with this car... On the positive side (which is very small) the car looks OK and it gets good gas mileage. I like the sleek design and the black paint job. I like that there is a camera to use upon backing up and the radio works great.

I love the make of the vehicle, with the different interior gadgets and roominess, but the build quality is terrible. I have had trouble with the carpet and thermostat in the vehicle. But my favorite part is in the winter time, it does not take a long time to warm the car and you don't have to do a lot of scraping as the ice and snow melts on its on. Other than the thermostat, I also love the heated seats and steering wheel during the cold months. I would say it could potentially be a long lasting car with a few minor adjustments.

I purchased this vehicle to replace an Acura CL coupe. I was in need of a much more spacious vehicle to accommodate my family. The Chrysler 200 is sturdy, sophisticated, and smooth to drive. I always feel safe driving it, and I am confident that it will last for years. The cab is quiet and the car handles wonderfully. I am able to fit two car seats in the back and still have room for one person to sit in the middle. The air conditioning flows really well through the entire car which is important to me because it keeps my kids cool on summer days. The settings are all easy to adjust. Behind the steering wheel there is a digital interface to show speed and also check stats like tire pressure, temperature, and many other options. I am an anxious driver, so being able to feel safe in my vehicle is an absolute must. I need to be able to feel safe when I transport my kids and when the weather turns ugly. The backup camera helps me out of tight spots when I can't see if cars are coming which is really helpful in places like grocery parking lots. Overall I love this car and I would recommend it to anyone who needs more space for their family but isn't quite ready to get a van or SUV.
