The PT Cruiser is a retro styled vehicle that's a lot more than just a fad. Beyond any initial doubts you'll find a quality, affordable and dependable everyday vehicle at your disposal. Despite not being a total powerhouse, this car will please most every normal driver. It has most of the features and power one would want and expect from any similar vehicle by Chrysler. Even if that's not your cup of tea its very easy to mod and let me tell you there are a lot of interesting and useful customizations that can be done. What I love most is the amount of room this seemingly smaller car packs. The passenger seat folds down and the backseats do also. They are also removable which I have personally done to help me accommodate my musical gear! It's almost like I have a mini truck! PT Cruisers are also built to last. I have almost 85,000 miles on mine and with proper maintenance and upkeep have had no major issues. Make sure you have your timing belt checked/changed because that is known possible issue with these vehicles. The 2.4 Liter turbo charged engine is also a big plus to many car enthusiasts. Chrysler is known for this in passenger vehicles, but its well suited here. All around, a perfect fit for many drivers, myself included. Give one a test drive!

This is a horrible car...from the moment I drove it off the lot, I knew I had made a mistake. It is a very heavy car and consequently, a gas guzzler. In the 8 years that I’ve had it, I’ve had to have multiple repairs done including the fixing of mysterious check engine lights as well as other sensors dying or acting up for unknown reasons. I remember once I lowered the window, and then without warning, it would not go back up. That was an expensive repair. Aside from the poor gas mileage and the frequent trips to our neighborhood mechanic, this car is a sluggish and low-powered car. If you’re looking for a cool car, this isn't it.
