This car has a lot of engine power and smooth ride. It has a sporty look without being gaudy. It handles very well in rough, wet weather. It corners well and the steering is very responsive at freeway speeds. The interior is roomy and sleek/not fussy looking and the road noise levels are negligible. The 2.4L inline 4 with the 4 gear auto transmission with overdrive provides great fuel economy on the highway but bad fuel economy in the city. The acceleration is on the low end of things but it looks beautiful and huge bang for its money. This car has personality. She's bright red in the sun, bright red in the dark. she pulls to 0-60mph/100kph in 6 seconds, and does a 7.0L per 100km at normal highway speeds. Her interior is adoring and useful, she holds you on long rides, throws you back and excites you when you want it the most. If this car was a girl she'd be everything you ask for, easy going on your wallet, likes everything you do, always there when you need her the most. Thanks Dodge.

When I first noticed it on the car lot I was attracted to the sporty look of it. It's a deep blue with violet undertones, the color it self does not lend much to a review but the quality of the paint job does. My grandchildren have bumped, scraped and ran their bikes into my car but no damage has been done that couldn't be buffed out. The style of the car is sporty but not so compact that I don't feel safe. I have put 60,000 miles on this car in 4 years and have not had to do anything but oil changes and tune ups which is wonderful since I'm single and need a reliable car. The trunk is roomy which is nice for a mom of five and a grandma of ten. The back seat can seat three car seats comfortably and has leg room for the bigger kids. There are 4 cup holders in the back seat alone which is great. The two bucket seats in the front are comfortable and easily manipulated to fit every body style and height. I also love the fact that it's a four-door vehicle without making me feel that I can't be both a grandma and a 47 year old single woman who drives a hot car. To some people this might sound unimportant but to others it will make perfect since. I would also like to add that the Avenger is the most reliable, comfortable and smooth running vehicle I have ever owned. I love taking this vehicle on long road trips or just a nice comfortable ride through the country. It is a wonderful car and when it's time to get a new vehicle I will be getting another Dodge Avenger.
