I am impressed.
This is the first car in my life that has reached its fifth odometer spin. It is actually close to its sixth spin. The engine is still in great condition. Although I do have to check the oil and anti-freeze often. And I can only drive a limited number of miles, which is fine for my needs. I never worry about it starting. Overall, the interior is still in great shape and so is the body. It also has a roof rack that I have used often. It is very rusty underneath. That is due to the fact it weathered Pennsylvania for many years. It still has a very smooth ride. It also has all the controls I need. This includes cruise control. Also four-wheel drive. It is the perfect size vehicle. Not too small and not too big. I can get a lot of things packed in it. I don't feel as small driving on a highway with large trucks driving around me. I have heard in the past that they are very reliable and sturdy vehicles.

Great Family Car!
I've owned my Durango for 8 years. It has to be the best family car I have ever owned. We have over 225k miles on it are still running. Took to Yellowstone with a family of 7 and towing a living room (camper) behind us... we did great. We've used every aspect of this car. Lots of room for lots of people with the 3rd row seating. Would have been nice to have a bit more room for storage in the back, but we always made it work. The CD player failed early on in our ownership, but everything was switching to Bluetooth so it really was not a big deal. At one point the transfer-case was stuck in 4 wheel drive for a few months with no mechanic or dealership knowing what to do. Ruined my tires and was a gas hog because of it. Finally got it fixed and it is great now. The Key fob failed within the first year and was over $400 to replace, that really was a bummer. However, with all the bad, it really has been a great vehicle and has done us very well over the years!

My first SUV.
I first bought this car because of the 3 rows. I had 3 teenagers and a wife, and we were constantly going out of town or to sports with the kids. It gave us enough room for all of the kids to be comfortable and roomy. The sound system leaves a lot to be desired at first, but since I have purchased it 4 years ago I have not replaced it and its still going strong. Does not have the bass or fancy systems that todays cars have. The luggage rack has been used a few times and its held everything in place even though we have driven more than 50,000 miles with luggage on it. The engine has lasted more than 200,000 miles with no major problems. Have just kept up with oil changes, lube etc. The style is not a bad looking style at all looks rough and rugged. I love the car. But since my youngest will be turning 16 this year this will be his first car. And If I can trust it with him then that means that its a good car. Will last him for a few years.

I had a long conversation with the salesman over the phone before coming in to the dealer. I had a difficult financing situation and I didn't want to waste my time at the dealer for hours if we weren't going to be able to get the deal done. The salesman was great, he wasn't pushy or obnoxious. I got the vehicle I wanted for a fair price.

They gave me a great price and we did it all over the phone. They did not try any tricks or play any games. The car I got had way more features than I thought I could afford. I got leather seats and automated everything. He got us in and out of the dealership in time to make it to my daughter's ballet recital. When I got home, I got a message from another dealership that I went to, who laughed and my request for the basic model at $25000, and I got my car for $21400!
