My Dodge Journey is the basic model, and I am very pleased with its performance. I especially love that it has built-in booster seats for my kids. One thing that I dislike is that it is not very fuel efficient compared to other cars that I have had. Overall, it is a sturdy, reliable vehicle that hasn't failed me in the four years that I have owned it.

I bought my Journey used four years ago and have put almost 100,000 miles on it! This car has been phenomenal for me! I have the RT trim with AWD. For a fully loaded and near-luxurious vehicle, the price was unbelievable. The engine, a 3.6L Pentastar has now proven itself in many vehicles, but with the AWD drivetrain on the Journey, this thing is a tank! It should be reclassified as a sport crossover. Not only does the Journey ride like an expensive euro, it's also built like a tank. I have only had one break down which was due to a faulty alternator. The rest of my mileage has only seen repairs. I do have to say that I do my own vehicle repairs, and the Journey is slightly difficult to work on. I have had difficulty sourcing parts. However, I am so pleased with the vehicle that it does not upset me. I do not have the third-row option as I do not often carry passengers, but the second row seats are very comfortable and have been great for long road trips. I also fold them down to fit my three dogs in the back. What's great is I can fold the seats down and fit an airbed in the back so I don't even have to pitch a tent when I take the dogs camping! I am currently looking for a new vehicle due to the mileage I have acquired. I am so sad to see my current Journey go, but I will most likely be trading it in for a new Journey only in a different color with less miles. I love this car.
