Traffic is constantly merging at 13th ave, Main ave, and 32nd ave south. You need to pay attention around the I-94 exit or you'll end up in Minnesota or out in Mapleton, ND.

My favorite memory from driving from the city is out of the city into the rural area. I like driving on the gravel roads and exploring new areas that the main roads often do not take you to. When I do drive in the city I try to avoid the main arterial roads that almost everyone else drives. I like to explore other parts of the city and neighborhoods that the main roads don't take you through. It is also nice to get on the main highway and cruise from one end of the city to the other. Finding new routes and ways to get from one point in the city to the other are a common practice when I drive. Friday nights are always a good time to cruise up and down Broadway and see all that is going on. The roads a few blocks off of Broadway are also a good place to cruise. Typically you always see a city's pretty face from the main streets. It's humbling to look at the ripped back side of a city exploring the off shoot roads that aren't always picked first for primary traffic.

Elm St.. This stretch of road was always the homeward bound or last leg of the trip. It is shaded by large elm trees that cover the roadway situated in a suburban neighborhood. The road at the southern end of its stretch winds down only a few feet from the river making for some exciting driving.

In order to maximize the driving experience in the city, be sure to have some dollar bills for parking! Bring a GPS. Know where you are going! As you approach your destination, park in the first lot you find.

42Nd St. There are so many commercial opportunities in Fargo, North Dakota. There are many different restaurants to visit. You can get a steak anywhere in North Dakota, but Chinese cuisine is as just about as exotic as you can get. Hu Hut for the win! I particularly enjoy the Mongolian barbecue!
