LOVE this car!
Being from a family that pretty much ONLY buys Ford vehicles, I have had several different models throughout the last 35 years. Our Ford Explorer is one of my favorite vehicles I've owned! It is the perfect combination of car and truck in an SUV. It has served our family very well. With almost 150,000 miles, we have traveled on many long distance trips as a family in our Explorer. We have never had any issues. It has been a reliable part of our family.
It is a comfortable ride and has great storage space for our luggage, ice chest, and sporting gear. The luggage rack on top is another great option! To be able to put some of the gear, in case we want more space inside the vehicle, like, when our dog travels with us! He is a member of our family and loves to travel with us.
When our 21 year daughter got her license, it was the car she drove for 2 years until her sister, 19, got her license! It has been a safe and dependable vehicle for our girls to drive. We plan on it being our 13 year old daughter's car when she gets her license! We all love it!

Reliable, sturdy, and comfortable
With regular maintenance this car keeps on going. This is my second Ford Explorer. The last one went 250,000 miles before the engine quit. I like the suspension because it has a very comfortable ride on the highway and performs well on dirt roads. It gets OK mileage for an SUV (18-19mpg) of its age. The drivetrain is 2WD. Unfortunately, it does not have a limited slip differential so in snowy/icy or off road situations the car is really only 1WD.

Great Little SUV
My experience with our Ford Explorer has been a pretty good one. To be honest, I'm not much of a Ford fan, but it was my wife's truck when we got married and it became our daily driver. We could do with a little better gas mileage out of it. Around town we usually get between 14-15 miles per gallon. On the highway, we usually get closer to 17-18. We have one of the 6 cylinder models and for the most part it has plenty of pep. The electronic shifting controls lag a little bit when you have to shift down more than 1 gear though. When getting on the freeway in a short distance, it can feel like the truck isn't moving when it's shifting, then it knocks you back into your seat once it hits the gear it's looking for. The 4wd works great. We regularly go up to Lake Tahoe to visit my wife's parents and we use the 4wd a lot in the snow. Never needed chains, but we always carry them just in case. Overall, it's a great little truck.

This dealership is focused on making sure you get the best possible vehicle for the best possible price. They are very friendly and take time to show you the advantages and disadvantages of each option on a vehicle. They also know their vehicles and which ones are going to make you happy

They gave me their lowest price without even making me go into the office. We stood in the lot and I was told exactly which car I could take home that day, and the exact price that I could expect to pay after all the hidden fees. Even better: when we found out that they didn't have the color I wanted, they gave me a higher end model in a different color for the original price.
