Overall, the Ford Explorer is a good buy, and I love driving this SUV. The base of the car is wider than older years which makes it feel more sturdy on turns. This SUV has been great in all weather, and the ease of using four-wheel drive by the turn of a knob is awesome for winter conditions.

I loved my Ford Explorer SUV when I first bought it. The vehicle is a very comfortable ride: with leather heated seats and both heating/air in the front and back. It is a big enough vehicle to travel comfortably with family. It is also a very dependable and reliable vehicle. However as time has gone by, I've become dissatisfied. The payments are a lot higher than I'm happy with. I feel $500 a month is too high. The third-row seating is not convenient at all. In order to use them, the person riding in the back basically has to crawl through the trunk. Lastly, the vehicle is a gas hog. It is very expensive to ride around in town. It does get better gas mileage on the highways, but in town it's very expensive. It costs me about $80 dollars a week in gas.

The Ford Escape is a great vehicle that has very few, if any, flaws. Since owning this car, I have only had to replace the battery once and no other troubles have occurred ever. The four-cylinder engine makes for a smooth ride driving to and from work or school. The Ford Escape is also quite spacious and has plenty of room for storage or taking the family on a cross-country vacation. What I enjoyed most about this vehicle was that I could always count on it to run properly, even in adverse weather. Reliability is a major concern when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle and the Ford Escape settled those concerns and made a vehicle that I have counted on for plenty of years now. What I dislike most about this vehicle is the four-cylinder engine. My previous vehicle was a sports car so the difference in horsepower was noticeable. However, I no longer had a desire or need for a sports car and the Ford Escape was the perfect fit for my desires and needs. I would definitely recommended the Ford Escape to a friend or colleague because it is hands down the best vehicle that I have ever owned.
