My vehicle was handed down from my father and older sibling; I got it after all of them. I like how smooth the ride still is, and I like the gear shift being up at the wheel rather than in the center console. It provides an extra seat up front if necessary, and we've used that for a few emergencies to cram an extra person in the car. It has performed fairly well, although it's needed serious work on the breaks over the years. It has also had some issues in the front of the tires. Recently, it had some transmission leakage. Overall though, with time and work put into the car, it still runs well.

We primarily value the Taurus X for the space. It has genuine 3 row seating and enough room to travel with 2 kids. The V6 engine has enough pep although has some noise at higher speed. Fuel Economy is around 16 miles per hour. The interior is spacious: especially for the 1st 2 rows and relatively quiet while driving. The ride overall is very comfortable. The materials in the interior are adequate for a family.
