I drove this car from approximately the 47,000 mile mark to 179,000 mile mark. I loved that the little car was zippy and low to the ground. It seemed like a little race car. It was great on gas mileage and never gave me any issues other than the norms of changing brakes and such. The trunk was roomy and the seats were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the sound system was adequate. It was not the quietest car inside but the road noise was not terrible. Moon roof was nice, and the windows provided a great visual field. My car came with the rubber floor mats from Honda that hold up to a gallon of water. These were remarkable and were wonderful with snowy weather. The engine was quiet and ran well. The heat worker great and warmed up quite quickly. The rear window defrost never worked since I got the car but was never a big deal for me. I thought the car was cute, and I loved the silver color I had as it didn't show itself to be dirty easily. The interior wasn't flashy but fit with the car's style. The steering wheel chaffed a bit over time but otherwise kept up well. I finally ended up getting rid of the car when I moved out of state because due to the salt used in winters in Ohio the exhaust system was so rusted it fell off.

My Honda Civic LX is a dependable vehicle. What I specifically like most about the Honda brand is that the Civics are durable and long-lasting dependable cars. One of the reasons I purchased this car is that I knew it would be a car that I would be able to have for many years. Hondas are typically are on the road long after they reach over 100,000 miles. They retain their value over many years.
