Although not perfect, my 2002 Honda CRV is a very reliable ride. My car is 14 years old with over 118k miles and it still runs as smooth as the day I brought it home from the dealership. I haven't had any major mechanical issues. Never had any recall issues with it either, unlike some of my other cars. It has excellent gas mileage (23 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway) and best of all it's AWD! The rear seats can hold three adults or four teens/children. There is also plenty of cargo space. Perfect for family vacations, picnics, or a day at the beach. I feel very secure with this car and would trust it with my family's safety. We've taken this car on road trips spanning at least four states across the country. The CRV has great handling and is actually pretty fast for a car of it's kind. It is also very easy to drive. This is the car I learned how to drive with, and is also the car my elderly mother drove to and from work with. It has never failed us.

I bought this car for my expanding family needs. With three small children, I needed something big enough to carry them and everything they need for any trip. The Honda CR-V was the crossover that checked all the boxes for us. Honda's reputation for reliability and dependability was what initially attracted me to the CR-V and it did not disappoint. It gets fantastic gas mileage with both city and highway driving. The interior is not very quiet while driving but not unbearably loud. It's spacious and functional. It handles well on moderately rough terrain away from highway and city roads. The fold down seats in the back provide enough room to fit most of the things I buy for the house and yard projects. It also has plenty of room for bikes and all your outdoor activity needs. All in all, the CR-V is the perfect car for the suburban family that is looking for performance, practicality, and price.
