I was in the market for a used vehicle for my teen son. I wanted a safe vehicle that was in my price range. I found a 2007 CR-V for sale and researched it. It has five-star crash test ratings which I really wanted. I took the car for a test drive and also to a mechanic for a pre-inspection. The mechanic let me know I was getting a good deal for a 2007 with 110,000 miles on it. The vehicle was checked over and in good condition. I know that Honda's can last a long time, so I am pleased with my purchase It rides pretty smooth - more like a truck feel to it.

The 2014 Honda CRV is the perfect SUV for those whole want the most reliable no thrills safe ride. This car does its job perfectly. It has plenty of room in the trunk and plenty of room for passengers. For those who want the most reliable way to get from A-B this is the SUV for you. This car is simply that - it does not boast anything special except reliability. We got it to be the daily driver work horse of the fleet and it is perfect for that. It gets over 30mpg highway and not bad city mileage either. We keep it in ECO mode because there is no point in trying to drive this car fast. The color options were nice, we went with Mountain Green which is more like a blue if you ask me. Personally, if you're planning on starting a family and want a safe reliable ride look no further. The SUV has had no repairs or trouble to date. Honda had a deal where we get free oil changes for life and we have only had to get routine parts such as tires, wiper blades and filters. This is a low cost option and we love it.

I really want to like my car. My car is solidly built with comfortable leather seats, minimal blind spots, and a very simplistic yet up to date dashboard. I like how it turns, how it accelerates and slows down, and the touch of the brake and the gas. It is roomy, especially for car seats in the back. The console in between the front seats is especially roomy and very useful. The trunk space holds a lot of things, though I do wish the back seats would fold down flush as it makes fitting long objects very difficult. However, my car is horribly made. Perhaps I got a lemon. But in the 4 years I have owned my car, I have had problems with my transmission, my oil leaking on multiple occasions after coming from a Honda dealership and being serviced. I have been stranded on the side of a busy highway because the gas stopped working, the engine has been rebuilt, and the automatic starter has stopped working twice now. I have needed two battery replacements and I have had a tire shredded after being replaced within the past 5 months. The dealership has not been helpful. My car makes ticking and grinding noises. It is very difficult to determine where it is coming from, and my timing belt has been off twice. For the space, the luxury of the seats, the eye appeal of the dash and even the back up cam, I just cannot like this car. I would never get another Honda again, even though I do like my car aesthetically.
