I bought this as a family car and absolutely love it. It is not huge but a perfect size for what we need. It is pretty spacious considering we have two kids and a dog and we travel often. It is very comfortable on our 4-5 hour drives to Orlando, which we do often. Kids love it, and we have plenty of room to be comfortable plus to take everything we take. It is usually 2-3 adults, two kids and sometimes a dog. Plus all the additional luggage, etc., etc.

I have owned my CR-V for nearly two years. It was a one owner, very low mile vehicle when I purchased it. During my first year driving it, I nearly doubled its mileage. I was a delivery driver for a local florist, as well as a catering company. I also drove for Lyft. Both jobs require a well-maintained vehicle in good running condition. Since it is an SUV, it can accommodate up to five people, plus has plenty of room in back for luggage, bicycle, boxes, etc. It was great for doing floral deliveries, since there was so much room not only in the trunk, but also across the passenger seats. In the past six months, I have discovered that my second row of seats folds completely down, and was able to move an entire couch set (in two different trips, but still!). A couple days ago, I discovered a secret slide-out compartment under the passenger seat. As far as maintenance issues, I have only had to pay for oil changes and a new battery. In the next year I will have to replace tires and brakes, which are routine things. This vehicle, maintenance wise, is the best one I have ever owned. As far as safety, I was hit with force from behind about a year ago, it totaled the other vehicle (a small sedan) but only dented in the plastic corner of my bumper, and knocked off the exhaust slightly- still not that loud. Very minimal body damage from a hard impact. I would recommend this car to anyone on a budget looking to move around family members or someone who uses their vehicle to transport things.

The front seats are very comfortable with supportive cushioning. The rear seats can accommodate two large car seats very comfortably with a center console in the middle for drinks. Without the car seats the seats can lay down to move large objects in the large cargo area. The trunk is huge and can hold two strollers or large amounts of groceries. It gets excellent gas mileage for an SUV. It drives very smoothly and takes bumps easily. I like the large front windshield, as I have a very safe, large viewing area of the road.
