The higher end options provide continuously variable transmission which potentially results in lower long term costs for maintenance and repair. From the very outset, the price is quite low compared to other similar makes and models compared to their MSRP's. This also has positive second and third order effects, particularly in reference to insurance premiums. Regrettably, the car can be viewed as lackluster and may have a negative image particularly when associated with males. The car could realistically be assessed to not be masculine so there may be some amount of stigma or negative image associated to it if driven by a man.
