The thing that originally drew me to the Honda Pilot was the design of the body. It looks like a large SUV without looking like a box. The next thing that drew me to it was how smoothly it drove. My only concern was the gas mileage it may get for being such a large vehicle.

Overall, our Pilot is a great vehicle. It isn't the fastest, but it will get all eight of you there in one piece. Honda definitely has a reputation for having superior longevity in their vehicles, and so far, it is true for us. Just be sure to follow the guidelines for the recommended maintenance schedule and proper oil changes, and your car will last 300,000+ miles!

The car drives really well. It is pretty big but handles like a smaller car. There is plenty of room to do a family trip and even bring along some extra friends due to the jump seat in the back. The engine has decent if not great power. We have towed trailers loaded down with rafts and gear and gone up fairly significant mountain passes.
