We purchased this car with the expectation of wanting something with a number of different qualities for our growing family. We needed something that had a spacious third row, not a small, cramped third row. We needed something that provided adequate storage space when the third row was in use. We preferred something that was fuel efficient. We preferred something that provided adequate pleasure in style and feel. We needed something that had AWD. Finally, we needed something that could pull a trailer of a decent size without worry or fear. This vehicle has met each and every one of our expectations. We could not be happier with our purchase, and we would definitely recommend the Pilot to everyone looking for a similar style of purchase. This vehicle provides us with everything that we wanted while still being economical and within the price range of what we wanted to buy. On top of this, the Honda brand is known for their longevity which is something we were really looking for in a vehicle as well.

This is the most comfortable SUV I have owned. It is roomy. The seats, radio, instrument and cabin air controls are exceptional. The ride is quiet and smooth. Gas mileage is acceptable for an SUV. The infotainment system could use improvement. It is not at all intuitive and can be both frustrating to use and distracting when attempting to make adjustments while driving. This includes the GPS. Also, the cost of updating the GPS is high in comparison to other makes/models. I appreciate the safety features. Fortunately, I have not yet had to test them out in an accident. The Pilot handles well on both dry and wet pavements. It is exceptional during Michigan winters. Traction is good, and the ABS works well. The turning radius is clunky which makes the Pilot not very nimble. Making turns in tight spaces is difficult. The back seat is comfortable for passengers, and the cargo space is exceptional. Laying down the third-row seat provides ample room for hauling stuff. Laying down the second row of seats makes it ideal for long road trips with my dog. It also allows for comfortable sleeping should I choose to not rent a hotel room.

This car was a good car when I used it. It had a lot of space and it is good for a family.
