Gas mileage is decent as the engine is equipped with feature that deactivates cylinders when the engine is not under heavy load, like highway driving. Maintenance has been minimal for the first 7 years. The car comes with a maintenance minder that helps you know when the car needs any work done. The exterior of the car has held up well over time. I have done allot of highway driving and I have had no problems the paint chipping or any outside blemishes. The interior also has a great build quality. Nothing has broken easily and has stood up to multiple family trips with not coming loose and rattling. I have recently moved twice in the last few years and packed my car to the brim multiple times and for multiple trips. The interior is large enough to handle allot of DIY projects and can fit a door or a 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood with some finagling.
