Hyundai Elantra Usados en Venta en Columbia, SC

We were looking for a small hatchback that got around 30 mpg. After researching and test driving many different hatchbacks we decided on the Hyundai Touring. This was done primarily for two reasons; price and trunk space. The car cost us anywhere from 2000-5000 less than comparable cars. It also has double the trunk space of the Honda Fit and other like models. The car performs really well. It has plenty of acceleration and holds the road really well. It is the perfect size for my family of three as well. There isn't an tremendous amount of leg room in the back seat but it is still enough to be confortable. Another added bonus is Hyundai's great warranty. While I am covered to up to 60000, I have had no problems up to 40000. It has only been in the shop to replace the dash display, which was done free of charge. If you are looking for a affordable, good driving car, check the Hyundai Touring out.

I drive a used Elantra Limited. I love the white exterior and tan leather seats because they give it a great clean look. I dislike the back of the car because it looks like a fin tail and a little too 'trendy.' This car drives pretty well but tends to shake a bit when the air conditioning is on and the car is stopped at a light. It gets great highway mileage and drives well on the interstate. I do have a problem when I want to accelerate quickly because the car tends to stall a bit and takes a second to catch up to my foot on the pedal. I prefer to drive this car on the highway and not around town because it gets better gas with out the stops.

Perhaps if I had purchased this car new, I would have a different opinion of it and I certainly would have taken better care of it, but I am not at all pleased with my Elantra. I bought the car used after my previous car was totaled by someone running a red light. The car was already 8 years old and had 150,000 miles on it. The car meets the purpose necessary of driving it to and from work for a 3 mile trip, but I am hesitant to take it any farther. The electrical system has failed several times and I have had to replace the fuel pump. Currently, I believe that the transmission and starter are failing. All four windows are no longer functional as they will randomly come down unless taped up. Overall, the vehicle works a bare minimum, however, I live in fear of it dying on me near constantly. I only pray it holds out for another year and a half until I can replace it.
