The Hyundai Elantra is a decent car for the price. The material that is on the doors is a plastic that, even though not ugly, could be better. After leaving the dealership I was already having problems with the navigation system, and the last thing you want on a brand new car is something breaking. After driving the car for less than 10,000 miles the leather on the driver seat was already coming out, showing poor assembly quality on the interior of the car. Before the Elantra I had a Sonata, which is a higher priced car but the quality is much better and definitely not comparable. The Hyundai Elantra is not a good car for a family with children because it is rather small. I would recommend this car as a first car for young people with no children. It's more compact, not so as fast, but still a very pretty car with a reliable engine. I believe if Hyundai improved on the overall quality of the materials and assembly in the interior that this would be a very good car.

My vehicle is a 2005 Hyundai plantar. I bought my vehicle in cash and got a good deal on it as it was use. I repainted it and fixed some problems with it and it works great, however I'm not a fan on the design of the body and its overall look. To me it looks like a very old car and it may be since its already almost 2018, but it 2005 for some reason doesn't seem so long ago. Some problems I can't fix with it are the steering wheel and that the car shakes. The steering wheel is broken and when I go to the junkyard to look for a new one from the same make and model all of the steering wheels seem to have the same issue. I do really like that the car runs and is reliable, has working cold A/C, and the interior is pretty clean. This car is a replacement for my 2007 plantar that got totaled. I preferred the look of that model more than this model. The gas mileage on this car isn't that great it uses a lot of gas, maybe not as much as a truck but it still uses a good amount.
